So far, the past few days have been very good to me. This is despite some unexpected and somewhat, minor mishaps. Then the that automatic human curiosity kicks in and you ask "Why?" Well, its because I acquired three unusual but attractive pieces of clothing.

Let's start off with last Thursday, shall we? My list begins with the mail that came that day.

I was so surprised to actually receive something! Not to mention that it was actually my first ever online purchase! Yey! It's a khaki sleeveless sheer polo and I love it for it's simplicity. I don't mind that it's in the same color as my skin, it just makes me more proud to wear my colors. Literally. I got it from Little Turp for a really reasonable price.

The next two items were bought consecutively last Friday night in Eastwood. From Jellybean, I bought this peach long sleeved polo with a twist! It has holes on the shoulder. I know there's a name for this type of clothing but since I'm just starting to tread the deep oceans of fashion, bear with me. If you do know what it's called do leave me a comment or message me. So going back, my last purchase is from People are People. Which was a bit odd since I don't usually go there when I'm not in need of a party garment. Don't get me wrong, I do love the place for it's unique finds. This love has reached a new level due to my new and long craved navy blue mullet skirt.

After all my purchases, I felt really good about myself that I was able to buy these using ever ounce of fashion fuel I had. I'd like to thank my Father for sponsoring 18 years of my clothing, and still counting if I might add. Oh! I also love my 10 year old sister for accompanying me through the different stores and for giving me her honest opinion for every piece I tried on.

On another note, I was reminded on how technology has made life easier in more ways than one. In my first-hand experience of online shopping, I realized how easy it is to find items you need. Just a few clicks and the use of your keyboard, you instantly have clothes and the works! Then again, there are drawbacks to this just how everything is in this world. Some of which would be the hassle of meeting up with your supplier or going to the bank to deposit money. Another would be the doubt you'd feel if the item would actually fit you and compliment your features. But in the end, the experience of going through it all was enriching and has given me a few thoughts to ponder on. I also realized that you've got to consider yourself lucky to even have good pieces of clothing at your disposal. Not everyone has the privilege you hold. Be thankful, be a wise spender.
